I’ve been riding my Interceptor 650 for long highway runs and weekend rides, and the stock rear suspension was always the weak point—too stiff on bad roads and unstable at higher speeds.
After installing the 66BHP Air Born Suspension, the difference was immediately noticeable. The bike feels more planted on highways, cornering confidence has improved, and bad patches are absorbed much better compared to stock. The adjustability actually works and allows fine-tuning based on riding style and load.
Installation was straightforward, and build quality feels premium. This is not a cosmetic upgrade—it genuinely improves ride comfort and control, especially on Indian road conditions.
If you tour or ride aggressively on an Interceptor or GT 650, this upgrade is worth the investment.
I am a Royal Enfield GT650 owner, my weight is around 105 kg, and I am a regular long-distance rider. With the stock suspension, I was facing a very dull and uncomfortable ride. Because of my weight, the suspension felt stiff and there was no real way to adjust it properly for my riding style.
I had been considering premium brands like Öhlins and YSS, but those options were completely out of my budget—₹50,000+ for YSS and close to ₹80,000 for Öhlins. That’s when I came across the 66BHP Airborne Suspension through an advertisement.
Initially, I was a little skeptical. But after speaking to the team and understanding the specifications and multiple adjustment options, I decided to give it a try. Since it was a pre-order, I received the product after about 20–25 days.
I’ve now been using this suspension for more than 20 days, and honestly, I’m very impressed.
The biggest advantage is the adjustability. Compared to the stock suspension, this feels like a completely different motorcycle. It’s no longer stiff, and I can personally fine-tune the setup based on my weight and riding conditions. The suspension response is smooth, controlled, and much more confidence-inspiring on long rides.
For the price I paid—₹25,000 at launch—this is an absolute value-for-money product. It delivers performance that I honestly did not expect at this price point.
I’m already recommending this suspension to fellow GT650 riders in multiple riding groups and communities I’m part of. For Indian riders who want real performance but can’t afford ultra-expensive imported suspensions, this is a fantastic option.
Kudos to Team 66BHP for taking a bold step and manufacturing a performance-focused suspension that suits Indian roads and Indian budgets. Their effort truly deserves appreciation.
Highly recommended.
